Three Years Ago. I Became A Fashion Blogger

Hello My Beautiful People. I was so busy with being a college student and the Super Bowl, I totally forgot that on February 7th 2013, I started this journey of becoming a well known fashion blogger. And I got to take you guys on this ride with me. When I started on this crazy, sometimes disappointing, but very  amazing ride, I did not know where this would go, I always love fashion and I wanted to be like the fashion bloggers that inspired me to do this anyway. I was so afraid that my blog would fall by the wayside.

But I realized that if people didn't like what I had to say about on a celebrity fashion or a certain fashion trend that I was impressed with for that season, I felt as if people wouldn't read my blog anymore. I came to realized that I will always be true to who I am and to all of you that show my blog so much love and it gives me the courage to be myself and give you the best blogs for you all to read.

I hope that all of YOU guys will continue to support me and my blog and everything that I want to do to become a successful fashion blogger. I have so many dreams and goals for my blog. You mean the absolute world to me and I just want to make you proud in everything that I do.

As many as you know, I'm a Christian, and I read my Bible and one of my favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11, and that verses has been apart of my life forever and everytime that I get down on myself, I just recite that Bible verse in my head and I have a new found dedication to my blog and to my beautiful people. I cannot wait to grow with this blog and you all.

The Reason For My Absence

Hello to ALL of  my beautiful people, It's no secret that I've not been on my blog talking to you guys in a month. But there were two issues, two personal issues that had my undivided attention. But I just want to let all of you know that there was not a moment that I did not think about each and every one of you guys.

The first issue that I want to talk about is about my amazing mother, she's truly my hero and best friend. My mother has a lot of health problems and in early November, She told me that she was going to have gallbladder surgery, My heart instantly dropped, I was more worry for her than anything in the world. I felt that I needed to be there for her as many times as she was there for me. The night before her surgery, I was nervous for her, I had a huge pit in my stomach, I tossed and turned in my bed the whole entire. But I remember reading a verse in the Bible, Psalm 118:17 to be exact and I had this overwhelming sense of peace that came over me, She had her and she did absolutely beautifully, I'm so glad that she is okay and healthy,

The second reason that I have not been on the blog is: I am changing Universities. I'm a big,firm believer of finishing what you start, I went to a community college and earned my Associate's degree and I thought the university that I was transferring to was going to be a great fit for me, But it turned out to be a huge disappointment to what I envision, I was not happy going there every single day and not being happy. I told my mother and a few close friends about my decision of changing universities, and I was surprised when they agreed with me. To know that my family and friends supported me in this gutsy and scary move in my life made me realized that I have to make decisions in my life that will keep me and only me happy, I will be starting at my new college in the Summer of 2016, And I'm beyond excited to take you guys along this journey with me.

In 2016, I hope that I can build this blog up into something I've always wanted it to be, I would love to going to local fashion events and meet other local fashion bloggers like myself. I hope to build relationships with people in the fashion industry and gain experiences that will only help me in the long run in the fashion industry, But must important than that, I hope to build a better relationship with all of you, You guys mean the absolute world to me. It's because of you all that I get to do this and I hope that I can give you the same amount of joy that you guys have given to me, It's will be three years this February since I started this journey of fashion blogging life.

Red Carpet Style: Burgundy

Good Afternoon to ALL of my beautiful people. I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful, lazy Sunday. I'm back with another post about something that I've seen a lot of on the red carpet.

Lately, I've seen a lot of the color Burgundy on the red carpet. Burgundy is a beautiful dark red color that is so beautiful on every skin tone. I've always put the color Burgundy with the Fall season. But now it completely blew up in the world of Fashion. I love this color, I even own several pieces in this beautiful color myself. I love the rich hue that it has and it makes me think of the Fall season. But it's not stretch over into the Fashion World, The beauty world has had it fair share of this color as well. From nail polish, to make-up, to my beauty weakness, Lips. This color has totally made it's impact of Fall. I've seen a lot of my favorite celebrities wearing this color as well. In my honest opinion, this color is not going anywhere no time soon. In fact, this color I'm sure is going to be a huge color for awards season next year as well.

This color has gotten me to to buy more this in this color to put in my wardrobe. Definitely a Fall Fashion must have for you Beautiful People.

Climbing Up My Ears

Beautiful People. I'm so glad I can be with you all again. I love being on this blog and telling you all about the amazing fashion, beauty, and accessories that have caught my eye as of late. I often have to think the many trends that I want try out for myself, and how many of these trends that I need to stay away from. SO many trends, so little time. (LOL)

I'm a huge fan of accessories, The accessories that you pick for your outfit can give your outfit a certain complete look. I love the danity jewelry to the statement jewelry that will have people literally have people turning their heads. But I believe that I have found the perfect fit of all of you that want a danity piece with a statement making point.

I first came to know about Ear Climbers or Ear Cuffs as many of you beautiful people called them when I saw a girl in a fashion magazine and I could see that she was not wearing your typical pair of earrings. I love how the outfit that she worn was so simple to really let the ear climbers shine. I have a least a pair of hoop earrings but I love to wear a stud from time to time. I love this trend because the ease of it and how it so easy to style with your outfit. I hope that this trend stays in for a little so that I can completely gave in to this new style of earrings.

My Midi Skirt Brings All The Boys To The Yard

Hello To All Of The Beautiful People Out There. I've missed you all so much. Can you guys believe that Fall is almost over, I'm just as sad as all of you are. I'm back with a brand new blog post about something that I'm OBSESSED with in fashion for Fall.

This Fall season For Fall Fashion is by far as been my favorite of all time, Just everything about it from Over The Knee boots to Faux Fur, to Floppy Hats, to the Fall colors, and the 1970's, one of my favorite times in fashion. I was so inspired by this Fall Fashion period, I even was planning outfits in my head. But there's one Fall trend that really inspired me to break out of my Fashion comfort zone. When I saw that the Midi, not Mini skirt was going to be on trend for Fall, I was on the fence, At first, I love this trend because it reminded me so much of what 1950's and Parisians housewives would wear to entertain their guests or to wear in their everyday life. On the other hand, I am only 5'3 and I was so afraid that this trend would look totally weird. This fashion trend was in my mind, flip- flopping about this issue, But then I saw one of my favorite fashion bloggers, Extra Petite. wearing a beautiful red Midi skirt in one of her blog post and she's a shortie like your's truly. I instantly fell in love this trend and my opinion about this trend changed in a instant. I've seen this trend on many of my Fashion Bloggers Fashion Bouriques, and Fashion websites such as Forever 21, Asos, Lulu's  and a ton on celebrities. This Fashion Trend is a great alternative to wearing a short skirt, you can wear this to Church and Holidays. I want this trend so bad for myself...

Is That Glitter In My Roots

To ALL Of My Beautiful People, I hope that you are doing well. I have to have you guys a question.   Have you heard about a new hair trend that has gotten the attention of the beauty game. I was just as surprised to see this hair trend as many as you were to here, let alone to see this as a hair trend.

One day, I was on my Facebook page and I was scrolling down and I saw this completely different hair trend that had me thinking, who would wear this out in public. The glitter root trend is a trend that I cannot and will not wear in my everyday life. I see this trend worn by teenagers, or a music festival goer. a All-Star Cheerleading team, or The QUEEN of extreme Miley Cyrus. I just not a fan of this beauty trend at all.  I feel that I am a little "old" for this trend and I have come to realized that just because it a fashion or beauty trend, Doesn't mean that you have to follow it. I think we have a right to stay true to your fashion or beauty limits.

Do The Duck Walk

Beautiful People. I know what many of you are thinking, WHAT on earth are Duck boots and what do they have to with fashion. Trust me, you are not alone. I have have seen these boots on fashion bloggers and websites such as Wet Seal, American Eagle Outfitters, Sperry, Macy's, Khol's  and my personal favorite, Nordstrom. But what are they, and why are they popular.

The brand L.L. Bean, which are known for their outdoor wear and many other things have made these boots for over 100 years. I always put them in the group of hunting,fishing, or walking in the creek, but never in the fashion world. But one day, I saw these funny looking boots on the Wet Seal website, the funny thing about this, I NEVER saw them in what to look for in Fall fashion. I was instantly tickled with wonderment. So the research of this mystery Fall fashion must have was on and I was completely amazed on how many people style this boot. From the traditional way, a long sleeved plaid shirt and jeans, to a hooded puffer jacket, skirt, and tights, to sweaters. to dresses, and I've even seen them in high heel and popular Over The Knee form. I see this Fall trend not going away for a while, It seemed to work for L.L. Bean.
