Trending For Makeup: Brown Smoky Eye

OMG!!! My second beauty related post in the same week, I think I deserve a pat on the back for that, LOL. I am really enjoying doing these types of posts. I feel that I can give my input on some of my favorite beauty items and my favorite beauty products.

Today, I will be giving my opinion of the brown smokey eye trend that is popular for the spring. I always like very clean and fresh make-up and what kills me is when girls put too much eye shadow on, it looks like they had way much fun in their eye shadow palette. So when I read that brown smokey eye was a make-up trend for spring in the March issue in People Style Watch. I got overly excited. I don't wear make-up everyday, but when I do I stick to nude eye make-up. It's so easy and you don't have to worry about matching your eye make-up to your clothes. I am loving how all the make-up girls a creating their own verisons of this make-up trends and even my friends and making this trend absolutely beautiful.

My opinion on this make-up trend is this, The smokey eye will always be here for my smokey eye lovers, but when I think of the smokey eye, I think of a dramatic look for the nighttime. I love this make-up trend and I hope that this trend will stay for a long time. It's a fresh daytime look for many people, including me to try out for themselves. I will do this for myself for a night out with my friends.

Here's a few pictures of this gorgeous trends.

Well, I hope that you enjoyed my second beauty post, I love you all so much. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful.

My Skincare Routine

Hello My Beautiful People, I'm back with a completely different blog post. As many of you know I am a fashion blogger, Fashion will always be  my first love, and music. But I'm just as obsessed with beauty. I am learning more and more about make-up and beauty products that I had no idea that even existed, which is so exciting to me.

Today for my first beauty blog post, I am here to talk to you all about my "Holy Grail" when it comes to my skincare routine. Growing up with sensitive skin, there was not a lot of skincare for me to use. Everything that I would use, It's seemed to make my sensitive even more dry and itchy. But one day, I was in my bedroom when I came across a TV ad for a new skincare line for people that has sensitive skin. When the famous soccer star, Hope Solo was the Spokesmodel for the brand Simple Skincare. She said that it did wonders for her skin. At first, I was VERY skeptical about this brand. A lot of skincare brands says that they are great for sensitive skin. But from my personal experience, it made my skin horrible. But when one of my best friends said that she love that skincare brand, I thought to myself, I would give it a try for myself. So I went to my local drugstore and brought a few products for the brand. One night as I was getting ready for bed, I decided to try one of the products of the brand, It was the smoothing facial scrub. When I put the scrub on my face, I could feel a major difference in my skin. It did not dry it out, it had no overpowering perfume smell, and it did not breakout my skin. From that moment on Simple Skincare if the only skincare I will ever use.

What I learned from this whole skincare journey is that do not ever judge a book by it's cover and never be turn off by a skincare brand because a bad experience you had.

Here's a rundown of my skincare routine:

I try to do my skincare twice a week, It's kinda of my way of  pampering  myself and doing my skin a major favor. So before I put the Simple Skincare Smoothing Facial Scrub on my face, I just wet my face and I squeeze a dime amount on the palm of my hand, rub the product into my hands and put it on my wet face and wash it off with warm water.

Not only I have sensitive skin, I also have dry skin, so when my skin need a little more TLC, I use the Moisturizing Facial Wash. This product put back the moisture that I loss throughout that day and it's makes skin so soft, clean and fresh.

After I use both of the the Moisturizing and the Facial Scrub, I use the Hydrating Light Lotion, It keeps all the moisture into my skin while I'm sleeping. I cannot live without it.

So That is my first beauty blog post, I hope that you loved it. I love you all so much, Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful.

Pantone Forgotten Colors

I'm truly sorry for not being on my blog regularly, I've missed you all so much. I know what many of you are thinking, Where have you been. I had to recover from a little thing called EXAMS!!! LOL. But don't worry I will be back to blogging on here. I am loving the Color of the Year, Marsala. But I think that Pantone lied to us when they had other colors that is are going to be a fashion gold mine this Spring, Summer and into the Fall. I am a huge fan of bright colors and these colors are really making me want to go shopping and add some beautiful clothes in my own closet.

So, If you guys are ready for me to tell you the four colors that I recently discovered from Pantone. Here's are the colors to add into your closets.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this color Strawberry Ice, this is the ideal girly pink. I was never a pink girl at all. Yellow is my favorite, next to Mint Green. I love how muted this color is for everyday wear and it such and universal color for all skin tones to wear. I think that you could wear this with other bright colors or with a neutral color.

Lucite Green is a beautiful color for anybody to try out for themselves. I always think that women should own something of this color in their color this spring. I can see the differences between this color and the color Mint Green. Every time I look at this color, I think of the beautiful colors of the Caribbean Sea. I am looking forward of what this color is going bring for us this spring and summer.

Oh Scuba Blue, I love you. I am really loving the color Blue. I am seeing that the color is starting to become a neutral to a outfit. What I love about this color Blue is that it in everything in fashion. From sunglasses, to sweaters, to my fashion weakness, handbags. I am starting to fall in Scuba Blue. I want to buy something in this color for the summertime maybe in a dress or a pair of sandals.

And finally, For my girls that are not into color as I am, Toasted Almond is the color for you. Toasted Almond is a nude color and I really liked this color. I see a lot of celebrities wearing this color in many ways and forms. I've also seen this color being grouped with brights to create a cool twist on color blocking. My mother always told me to have something neutral in your closet, and now I see why Neutrals such as Toasted Almond will never be out of style.

Well, I am so glad that I'm back doing what I love to do, Blogging about fashion and soon beauty. I LOVE you all so much. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful..

My Favorite Spring Beauty Trends

Beautiful People, I know what all of you were thinking. Where on earth have you been, As many of you know, I am a college student and I need to focus on my schoolwork before I even start thinking about blogging,  I hope that you guys can understand. Now that we got that out of the way, I am here to spread the word of my favorite spring fashion trends. You know what the old saying says, April Showers Brings May Flowers. Well in my case, Spring brings me warm weather, AMAZING fashion, and new beauty trends to try out for myself. I see that a lot of beauty trends are fresh and pushing the envelope, but still keep it traditional.

Nude lips had always been a trend for beauty for as long as I could remember, If you don't wear bright lips then nude lips are a thing for you to try. I love the many shades of nude lips that many of our favorite make-up brands carry. They add the right amount of color for any skin tone.

I am really liking the bold eyeliner that I see everywhere. It's such a great little pop to you regular eyeliner/ I love how many people wear this trend, from different colors, to shapes. I would wear this trend on a night out or for a fancy people to add to my make-up.

Braids have a special meaning to me, I grew up wearing them when I was a little girl. I love how carefree braids are during the spring and even into the summer. I am starting to wear braids again and I love them. They so easy to wear and not that hard to take care of them.

Neutral Nails are always a go-to for me, If I do not have time to do my nails, I wear this. I love this trend for spring because it's so fresh and clean goes with everything and did I mention, they look amazing on anyone and every skin tone.

And finally, I am not the type of girl that matches the color of her eye shadow with her clothes. So when I saw that the natural make-up was a trend for spring, I instantly got a HUGE grin on my face. It's just a great way for anybody to try and still be on trend for beauty. I love that make-up is getting more natural and back to basics.

Well, I hope that you loved this post on Spring Beauty Trends, I love you all so much, Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

My Spring Hot List

I am EXTREMELY happy that spring is finally here, I am beyond over winter and what it brings with it. I always look forward to what is going to be in for the springtime, It's such a inspiration for to use the things that I learned for my favorite fashion magazines and bloggers. Spring fashion has always been my favorite time for fashion, These trends I feel are going to carry over to the summer and the fall seasons.

So, Here's my favorite Spring Trends for 2015

I love the fact the light blue is a trend for spring, I love that it has a vary of shades and can be used a neutral to your outfit. from shoes, to bags, to dresses, to even nail polish. This is one of my favorite trends for the spring.

I feel that every girl should have at least a couple of white shirt. They can be dress up or dress down for and will add a fresh, clean, and crisp element to your outfit. I love this trend, it's classic and such a great go-to.

Block Heels reminds me of the 1990's where my mother and my sister had tons of them. They are such a great alternative from wearing high heels. They are so comfy and will keep you on trend for the spring and the summer as well.

I love fringe, I always loved fringe. It's such a fun and girly material for everyone to have in their closets. It just adds a fun and sassy element  to your outfit. From every color of the rainbow, you will not be disappointed with this awesome spring trend.

When I heard that suede was a trend for spring, I was a little puzzled. I would that suede would be a little warm and a little uncomfortable but I have change my ways. I see a lot of suede from one of favorite stores, Free People. I love how they style many of the suede items that they have. I learned that in fashion, You'll never know if you like anything, unless you try it for yourself.

Gingham is a sentimental print for me, My mother brought me a gingham dress when I was a little girl. And I have been obsessed with this print ever since. It's so iconic to fashion and to many other things. I feel that the gingham print is a fresh twist colored denim or a solid color.

I did a blog post a while back on the 1970's being one of my favorite times for fashion. I love how everything back then was so effortless and well put together. I wish that I was born in the 1970's so I could wear some of the great fashion.

I've always been a HUGE fan of dark denim. I love the sleek and dressed up feel that it gives to a outfit. I have some dark denim and they are my go-to when I go out with friends and family. They are so classic and everyone needs them in their closets.

And finally, I think that circle bags are the cutest things I've ever seen. When I think of circle bags, I think of the 1950's, another one of my favorite times of fashion. I imagine that Audrey Hepburn carried one. They are such a great day bag for running your errands or a clutch for the nighttime.

Well I hope that you enjoyed this blog post, And I hope that you are inspired to go shopping a freshen up your closets. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

My Oscars Worst Dressed 2015

Now that we got to the best of the Oscars, There are a few stars that did not get it right at all. These stars should have been banned for life, I just had to think to myself, WHAT THE FLIP  were you thinking leaving your house looking like that.

So, Here are my Worst Dressed of the 2015 Oscars

Kelly Osbourne, I always loved your style and your funky hair colors, but this dress by Rita Vinieris did not do you justice. If she wore a closed high heel shoe and the dress is long, I think that it would look a lot better. I did not understand the pleating of the dress at all. I loved the lace of the dress.

Viola Davis, you are AMAZING in How To Get Away With Murder, But this dress by Zac Posen is NOT amazing at all. I can see that it did not fit her well at, I loved the color on her beautiful dark skin. But she could have done better.

Did Solange raid Oprah's closet, I HATED this dress/ suit by one  my favorite Project Runway designer Christian Siriano. She usually has a great sense of style, but she went way off. Please come correct next awards season.

I always loved Christy Teigan style and she always had a great sense of style, in my honest opinion. But this dress by Zuhair Muhad. I felt that she came to the Oscars a little too exposed with a very high slit in the dress. The color of the dress was gorgeous, a ice blue that looked beautiful with her skin tone.

Well, I am glad that we are done with awards season. I hope you enjoyed this blog post, Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

My Oscars Best Dressed 2015

My beautiful people, I've missed you all so much. Can we be completely honest with each other, I'm so glad the awards season is over. But I will be always missed the fashion. The Oscars was the final awards show of the season. But I am telling you, it totally wet my appetite for all of the dresses that I saw. I always felt the Oscars is the Super Bowl of the awards season where everyone should be at their absolutely best. I was very pleased with the fashion choices that the celebrities have chosen.

So without delay, Here's my best dressed at the 2015 Oscars.

Lupita Nyong'o looked absolutely STUNNING in the Calvin Klein dress that combined one of my all time favorite things ever, Pearls. I loved how she took a risk by wearing a dress like and just took my breathe away. She was my best dressed of the night.

Jamie Chung reminded me of the Christmas Barbie that you get from your Grandma in this dress by Yanina Couture. Jamie Chung is one of my style icons. I love that she enjoys fashion and dresses for her small frame. I would love to raid her closet.

Dakota Johnson has really came into herself during the awards season, I loved the dress she chose for Yves Saint Laurent. I love how the color red really brought out her blue eyes. Her hair and make-up was just flawless.

She may have not won a Oscar, But Emma Stone shined in this Elie Saab dress, I love this color on her. She rocked that red lip like nobody else. Her hair was well picked for her dress. I just love her style.

Reese Witherspoon in this Tom Ford Black and White dress looked so chic. She gave a Old Hollywood glam to the red carpet and it worked out beautifully. I love her hair and her make-up. I always looked to her for my own fashion choices.

Well, I hope that you enjoyed this long overdue blog post, I love all of you so so much. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...
