Oscar De La Renta: An Fashion Icon

Hello my beautiful people, I am so sorry that I've not been on my blog lately. I am getting ready for the second half of my junior year of college. But this has been on my mind, I was looking through my phone and I saw that Oscar De La Renta had died at the age of 82. I was always been a fan of his since I was a little girl, his feminine designs would make any woman feel like a queen. I feel that fashion heaven has gained a angel and I am pretty sure that he will have them well dressed for any red carpet event in fashion heaven. I wanted to wear his absolutely GORGEOUS wedding dresses for my wedding day. I might have to save a ton of money (hey, a girl can dream). He will be the one designers that will always be in my top five favorite designers that gave us so many beautiful, feminine, and timeless works of art.

Thank You Mr. Oscar De La Renta, I will forever grateful for ALL that you done for many fashion lovers like myself and the world of fashion. God Bless and make me and dress when I get to heaven one day, LOL...

Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

The Difference Between Tasteful Distressed Jeans And Looking Like You Got Into A Fight With A Lion

Just like everybody in the world, I love jeans. It a stable for anyone to have in their closet, you can dress them up or dress them down. I am kinda obsessed with jeans. Distressed jeans has been the trend of a long time I have a pair myself. Don't get me wrong, Distressed jeans are a cool concept, But when your Distressed jeans looks as if you got yourself into a fight with a lion, I feel that this trend is both a good and bad thing. I want to see this trend a little more cleaned up and more polished.

And not like this

Well I hope that some of you feel the same way as I do on the distressed jeans trend, Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful....

Pajamas: Wear To Bed, Not In Public

Hello Beautiful People, I have been wanting to do this blog post for a long time. I understand that pajamas are a comfy thing of all of us to wear, after work, for a special occassion, and to bed. But for some people, wearing pajamas is a everyday fashion statement. I am SICK AND TIRED of seeing this everywhere that I go. It's looks that you didn't not take the time to take a shower or at least brush their. I feel that everyday is a new chance to make a first impresssion to the world and to people. Wearing pajamas out in public in my opinion, looks a lazy approach  to take the time to make a good impression not only to you, but the people around and the potential job opportunities you may have.

Well I know this has nothing to with beauty or fashion, But I just wanted to but my two cents in to this issue. Tell me if you feel the same as I do, Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful.

My Favorite Fall Trends

Hello My Beautiful People, I am so sorry for not posting this earlier. Being a fashion blogger and a full-time college student is kinda a balancing act. But I will try to post regularly to give you a fresh blog every week. Fall is by far, my favorite time of year. I love it when all of us get to see what in style for fall. Not only that, It gives me inspiration to be little braver when it's come to trends in fashion as well. I have a few favorite fall trends that I am drooling over. Here's my fall fashion faves..

I love plaid, It reminds me of the 1990s when grudge was in, I feel that plaid can be dressed up or down whatever you choose to do with it. From bags, to shoes, this trend gives a fresh spin to wearing a solid pant with your outfit.

Oh Chunky Knits, how I love you. I love wearing chunky knits during fall and winter. Not only they keep you warm, but it's a closet staple that everyone should have in their closet. I would pair this with jeans and boots or maybe a leather skirt. Perfect for any shape and sizes.

Bold colors is another trend that I loving right now. It plays of the pastel trend that was big in the spring and summer. I feel that this trend has the potential to be a big trend for spring 2015 as well. Shoes, dresses and pants are a great way to introduce someone that does not like a little color.

Fun, sassy, sexy. Cut-out heels are a great way for you to have fun with your shoes. I seen these on a fashion website and instantly fell in love with this trend. You can also use this trend a focal point to your outfit.

Dark Florals adds a mysterious and romantic twist to the outfit that you're wearing. I would wear this trend in many forms, from dresses, to jackets, you will be on trend and looking adorable while conquering your duties in you life.

BAGS,BAGS,BAGS, BAGS I do adore. Boxy Bags are a new trend that I am digging at the moment. It reminds me of the 1950s when women carried them to church and everywhere else. I LOVE the shape and I can use this as a everyday bag. I will be joining this bandwagon.

And Finally, the shift dress. I love dresses for fall. The shift dress is a classic shape but updated, This dress is perfect for everyone. I love how easy it is to dress up of down. This trend to me, is just like the DVF wrap dress. This trend is such a great switch from a regular dress, It will never go out of style, In my opinion.

Well I hope that I inspired you to try some of these trends. I know I will be. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

My Favorite Make-Up Brands

Hello My Fellow Beautiful People. I am back with another blog post, But this time, it's all about my favorite make-up brands. I just got into make-up a few years ago, I never went to school with full face of make-up. I only wore make-up on special occasions, such as prom or graduation. But I know the difference when you have make-up on. You feel a little more confidence in yourself, a little spring in your step. I will let you know the top 4 make- up that I love and cannot live without.

1.Cover Girl- I became a  fan of Cover Girl, ever since I was in junior high school when all my friends were getting into wearing make-up. I love how they stay on trend with what's going on in beauty. But still stay classic with the way they package their products. They just know how to make a girl feel her absolute best.

2. Maybelline- Maybelline was the first make-up related product I owned back when I was in high school. I love how the Eye shadows blend so well and I don't need to put a  lot of the product on to build up my eye make-up. I SERIOUSLY want the Nudes palette in my collection. And I hope I get it soon.

3. Wet n Wild- I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Wet n Wild, From their nail polishes to their eye shadows, they are simply amazing. I remember when a lot of people use to sleep on Wet n Wild , but now everyone owns something that has Wet n Wild on it. And it's affordable.

4. Urban Decay- I have been a fan of Urban Decay since the first Naked palette come out. They are a amazing brand that I want in growing make-up collection. The colors are beautiful and blends well from the many people that I know who owns it. I want all three palettes in the collection.

Tell me what's you favorite make-up brands, Maybe we can compare and gag over each choices. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful.

Lena Durham: Funny Girl, Fashion Mistakes

Hello Beautiful People, Sorry if I have not been on here lately. It's kinda crazy balancing college life and blogging life. But I promise I will be on here a lot more on my blog. If you read my next to last blog, I said that I would a special post on a person that I thought that had the worst dress of all of the celebs that was at the Emmy's. Lena Durham from the hit show on HBO Girls had by far, THE WORST DRESS EVER!!! She looked like pink icing on a cupcake that was melting off. Don't get me wrong, I love Lena, she is a amazing actress, but when you go to a huge red carpet event, YOU have to come looking you absolute best. Maybe I am coming off a little rude, and I don't mean to be. But I am just being honest. Some of her fashion choices had me thinking, Did she look into a mirror before she left. Here is some of my not so favorite fashion choices by her.

Tell me what you think, I hope that we can agree to disagree on Lena's fashion, I love you ALL, Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

A Letter To My 18 Year Self

Dear Bre,

You made to your junior year of High School. I could not be any more proud of you. You had a lot of things that you had to go through, but you are here, from your mother being sick to not making the Cheerleading Team, to finding out that sometimes you need to not put you two cents into things that does not concern you at all.

Another thing that you need to learn is stop trying to be in the "in crowd" sometimes being in the in crowd can make you become into something that you don't want to be, it's totally okay to not be apart of that craziness. I so glad that you became a lot more mature during this time, you are starting to realize that the friends that you thought you had was just using your kindness as a weakest and you pulled yourself away from that.

After you didn't make the Cheerleading Team, You took out all your anger on the wrong people. You almost lost some of your friends because of something that you were not meant to be apart of, you realize that what you were built to do something else, soccer. You had the best times of your life, you got belief in yourself and built friendships that will last a lifetime.  You also realized that you had a DEEP love for fashion and you wanted to pursue this as a career.

You gotten ridiculed by some of your classmates by being too smart, but you never let that get you down. Being smart kept you out of trouble and not getting yourself into situations that you could not get yourself out of.

And finally, the whole boys thing. You had a crush on the same boy ever since you were in middle school. People tried to tell you that he was not the one for you, but you didn't listen, just like your mother said, "A hard head makes a soft behind. I'm so glad that you gave that jackhole up and waiting for God to right you a right and Godly man.

Well I must say you came a long way, You are a caring, intelligent, absolutely beautiful, loving, fashionable, and well rounded young woman. I know that were will a success with that mind set and a beautiful soul and heart to help many people as you can.

Love Always, Breanne.
