Navy Is The New Black

Hello My Beautiful People, I'm so glad to be back into the groove of doing what I love to do, which is connecting with all of you fashion obsessed people. I've been really loving that the neutral colors are starting to become a main factor in our fashion today. When I was a little girl, when I saw someone that wore the colors brown, black, or navy. I instantly thought, they had no personality AT ALL. But now I know that it's was okay to wear neutrals.

Today's blog post is about a color that has gotten a lot of attention lately. Navy is starting to become the new black. Navy is a elegant way for most women to get out of wearing black all the time. Navy is also a classic color that many people have in their closets, including myself. I love that this color is getting the attention that it deserves. My mother wears a navy blazer everytime she goes somewhere important.  I would have never thought that a color would make me literally want to buy everything in navy blue. I am looking forward for many people to jump on the navy bandwagon and I'm cannot wait to see some of my favorite celebrities and fashion bloggers style this color for the blog pictures.

Here's some Navy Fashions for you all to drool over.

To Have Tasteful Eyebrows, Or Not To Have Tasteful Eyebrows

Hello To All Of My Beautiful People. Another Day, another blog post about my beauty obsessions in life. When I was a little girl, I never really understood why women worried so much about their eyebrows. It was so interesting to me that some women would draw, pluck, or even get them tattooed so they didn't have to bother with them. As I grew up, I've seen my mother and my older sister struggled with their eyebrows, I started thinking to myself, Will I have the love/hate relationship with my eyebrows that I've witnessed the women in my life have.

When I've learned as I  go through my own make-up journey, Eyebrows are a focal point to your all around finished make-up look. I see that having tasteful eyebrows are a great thing to have. I love to see eyebrows in their natural state, I cannot stand it when I see girls and many grown women making their eyebrows look as if they are working at a circus, That's my biggest beauty pet peeves, Eyebrows should also be looking clean and fresh. As for my own eyebrow dilemma, By the grace of God and good genes, I have good eyebrows.

As I finished up this blog post, I feel I've learn a lot about eyebrows and as I continued to learn about make-up, I hope that I can take you along this journey with me.

Here's a few pics of some of my favorite Celebrities with AMAZING eyebrows.

Well I hope You've Enjoyed This Blog Post, May All Of My Beautiful People Have Tasteful Eyebrows. I  Love You All. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

My Spring Must Haves 2015

Hello My Beautiful People,I've missed you all so much. I know that the Summer months are coming soon. But  recently I have been looking back on my old fashion magazines and there's a lot of spring trends that I completely looked over. I was completely in shocked that I did not blog to to you guys earlier.

Spring Fashion is my all time favorite times for fashion, besides fall. I feel that spring fashion is a way for the many  designers to show us what they have been working on during the gloomy winter. I get so happy when I get or see a fashion magazines and they give us the trends we need to know for spring.

So Here Is The Spring Trends That I Am Digging This Spring.

Moody Pastels are the darker cousin of the bright and beautiful pastels that we know and love. I am a bit obsessed with this trend. Lavender and muted blues are the main colors for this trend. I've seen this worn as a accent to a outfit or used as a neutral. However you use it, you will be totally on trend.

I recently was looking at a Jewelry website and I saw that stone jewelry is huge for springtime. I fell in love this type of jewelry because I love the organic feel the jewelry gives off. I'm also loving the fact they are mixing metals together such as sliver and gold. And I thought it was a sin to do that.

I literally gasp when I saw this trend on the Forever 21 website. I love the soft and feminine flow that the soft trench gives. It's a new twist on the traditional trench coat that we all know and know. From Linen, to silky fabrics, It's a spring trend must have.

Rose Gold have been a metal that has been around for a long time. I first saw this trend when the amazing Michael Kors debut her watch line. In my opinion, it's the perfect alternative to pink. From bags. to shoes, to nail polish and many other things. Rose  Gold is totally a spring trend.

And finally, The saddle bag. I had a saddle bag when my obsession with handbags began-in the fourth grade. I like the easy feel of this bag. I like to carry a smaller bag during the day so that I don't have to lug around a suitcase for the daytime. Not only that, It's so 1970's inspired and you guys know that I am obsessed with the 1970's

Well, I have that you enjoyed reading this blog post as I enjoyed typing for you all. I love you all so much. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful...

Matchy Matchy And Oh So Classy

Its feels so good to be back to what I love to do, Giving my viewpoint on some of the beauty and fashion trends that we all love to try out for ourselves. I'm loving the fact that I can talk about the two things that means so much to me. It's so important that I share these things with you because fashion and beauty both helped me to become the woman that I am today.

Today's post is on: Should I Match My Nail Polish To My Make-Up. One day, I was reading a past issue of People Stylewatch Magazine, and I came across a picture of the ever so gorgeous Jennifer Lopez and she had a beautiful copper color on both her nails and her lip color. That picture had got me thinking about this a lot more than usual. I always that matching your nails and make-up was a good thing. Then when I was a little girl, I saw a lot of women who did not match either their make-up of nails. I was really going back and forth with this trend.

My Take On This Beauty Trend Is This: I understand why some people would think to themselves, Why would you match your make-up and your nails. But my mindset is, why would you not do this. I really loved this trend. I love how polished this trend is to all women, pre-teens  and young girls to try out for themselves. I love that Jennifer Lopez brought this beauty trend back into my life.

Here's a few pictures of this trend that I think you like.

I missed you all so much. I just want to say Thank You for all the love and support you have given me. I LOVE you all. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful.

Trending For Makeup: Brown Smoky Eye

OMG!!! My second beauty related post in the same week, I think I deserve a pat on the back for that, LOL. I am really enjoying doing these types of posts. I feel that I can give my input on some of my favorite beauty items and my favorite beauty products.

Today, I will be giving my opinion of the brown smokey eye trend that is popular for the spring. I always like very clean and fresh make-up and what kills me is when girls put too much eye shadow on, it looks like they had way much fun in their eye shadow palette. So when I read that brown smokey eye was a make-up trend for spring in the March issue in People Style Watch. I got overly excited. I don't wear make-up everyday, but when I do I stick to nude eye make-up. It's so easy and you don't have to worry about matching your eye make-up to your clothes. I am loving how all the make-up girls a creating their own verisons of this make-up trends and even my friends and making this trend absolutely beautiful.

My opinion on this make-up trend is this, The smokey eye will always be here for my smokey eye lovers, but when I think of the smokey eye, I think of a dramatic look for the nighttime. I love this make-up trend and I hope that this trend will stay for a long time. It's a fresh daytime look for many people, including me to try out for themselves. I will do this for myself for a night out with my friends.

Here's a few pictures of this gorgeous trends.

Well, I hope that you enjoyed my second beauty post, I love you all so much. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful.

My Skincare Routine

Hello My Beautiful People, I'm back with a completely different blog post. As many of you know I am a fashion blogger, Fashion will always be  my first love, and music. But I'm just as obsessed with beauty. I am learning more and more about make-up and beauty products that I had no idea that even existed, which is so exciting to me.

Today for my first beauty blog post, I am here to talk to you all about my "Holy Grail" when it comes to my skincare routine. Growing up with sensitive skin, there was not a lot of skincare for me to use. Everything that I would use, It's seemed to make my sensitive even more dry and itchy. But one day, I was in my bedroom when I came across a TV ad for a new skincare line for people that has sensitive skin. When the famous soccer star, Hope Solo was the Spokesmodel for the brand Simple Skincare. She said that it did wonders for her skin. At first, I was VERY skeptical about this brand. A lot of skincare brands says that they are great for sensitive skin. But from my personal experience, it made my skin horrible. But when one of my best friends said that she love that skincare brand, I thought to myself, I would give it a try for myself. So I went to my local drugstore and brought a few products for the brand. One night as I was getting ready for bed, I decided to try one of the products of the brand, It was the smoothing facial scrub. When I put the scrub on my face, I could feel a major difference in my skin. It did not dry it out, it had no overpowering perfume smell, and it did not breakout my skin. From that moment on Simple Skincare if the only skincare I will ever use.

What I learned from this whole skincare journey is that do not ever judge a book by it's cover and never be turn off by a skincare brand because a bad experience you had.

Here's a rundown of my skincare routine:

I try to do my skincare twice a week, It's kinda of my way of  pampering  myself and doing my skin a major favor. So before I put the Simple Skincare Smoothing Facial Scrub on my face, I just wet my face and I squeeze a dime amount on the palm of my hand, rub the product into my hands and put it on my wet face and wash it off with warm water.

Not only I have sensitive skin, I also have dry skin, so when my skin need a little more TLC, I use the Moisturizing Facial Wash. This product put back the moisture that I loss throughout that day and it's makes skin so soft, clean and fresh.

After I use both of the the Moisturizing and the Facial Scrub, I use the Hydrating Light Lotion, It keeps all the moisture into my skin while I'm sleeping. I cannot live without it.

So That is my first beauty blog post, I hope that you loved it. I love you all so much, Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful.

Pantone Forgotten Colors

I'm truly sorry for not being on my blog regularly, I've missed you all so much. I know what many of you are thinking, Where have you been. I had to recover from a little thing called EXAMS!!! LOL. But don't worry I will be back to blogging on here. I am loving the Color of the Year, Marsala. But I think that Pantone lied to us when they had other colors that is are going to be a fashion gold mine this Spring, Summer and into the Fall. I am a huge fan of bright colors and these colors are really making me want to go shopping and add some beautiful clothes in my own closet.

So, If you guys are ready for me to tell you the four colors that I recently discovered from Pantone. Here's are the colors to add into your closets.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this color Strawberry Ice, this is the ideal girly pink. I was never a pink girl at all. Yellow is my favorite, next to Mint Green. I love how muted this color is for everyday wear and it such and universal color for all skin tones to wear. I think that you could wear this with other bright colors or with a neutral color.

Lucite Green is a beautiful color for anybody to try out for themselves. I always think that women should own something of this color in their color this spring. I can see the differences between this color and the color Mint Green. Every time I look at this color, I think of the beautiful colors of the Caribbean Sea. I am looking forward of what this color is going bring for us this spring and summer.

Oh Scuba Blue, I love you. I am really loving the color Blue. I am seeing that the color is starting to become a neutral to a outfit. What I love about this color Blue is that it in everything in fashion. From sunglasses, to sweaters, to my fashion weakness, handbags. I am starting to fall in Scuba Blue. I want to buy something in this color for the summertime maybe in a dress or a pair of sandals.

And finally, For my girls that are not into color as I am, Toasted Almond is the color for you. Toasted Almond is a nude color and I really liked this color. I see a lot of celebrities wearing this color in many ways and forms. I've also seen this color being grouped with brights to create a cool twist on color blocking. My mother always told me to have something neutral in your closet, and now I see why Neutrals such as Toasted Almond will never be out of style.

Well, I am so glad that I'm back doing what I love to do, Blogging about fashion and soon beauty. I LOVE you all so much. Until Next Time, Stay Beautiful..
